Social Media- Have We Lost The Art Of Communication?

"See,that's the trouble. We now only really have fluffy relationships. so we're all communicating all the time on email, Twitter and text, but we are not really communicating. I've suddenly found that I don't really know people like I used to know them. Everyone's so busy, and the television's on, the computer's on and there's this constant noise, and you think you're in communication, but actually I don't think you are."

What Age Should a Girl Join Facebook?

I had an interesting conversation at a Pamper Party yesterday. It was a thirteenth Birthday party and the girls were discussing Facebook. Some were twelve, but were on Facebook, and some were thirteen, but were not allowed on Facebook yet. The Birthday girl was excited because she was now allowed a Facebook account as her parents had said once she became thirteen she could join. I did find it amusing when her Mum said 'Ah yes, but you are thirteen for another 364 days'. She wasn't keen on her...
